PAMUK BOOSTER STATION NOW OPERATIONAL21 April 2008
Tashkent: Uzbekneftegaz, the state-owned energy company, and Zeromax GmbH today commissioned the booster station (BS) at Pamuk gas-condensate field in Kashkadarya region, Uzbekistan.
To overcome the problem of reservoir energy decline, the BS is designed to maintain the required gas stock pressure at the low-temperature separator (LTS) inlet. This is achieved through a re-cycling facility consisting of four 8 MW capacity compressor trains. Under progressive formation pressure depletion scenario, required gas flow is supplied to the LTS inlet by means of compressor train power increase.
Project construction and assembly operations were carried out by Uzbekneftegaz; equipment was delivered by Zeromax; and pre-commissioning and set-up operations were fulfilled jointly by Neftgazmontaj JV and Zeromax specialists.
The realization of this project has made it possible to increase volumes of gas and gas condensate production up to 3.5 Bcm and 40,000 thousand tons respectively. Reservoir life has been extended up to 2019.
